Mother’s Day is right around the corner. If you’re planning a brunch for the special day, I’ve got over 30 ideas for you!
Now, I definitely believe in indulging for special occasions: if someone is serving something completely unhealthy at a family gathering, I go ahead and enjoy it. You’ve gotta live a little. But I also enjoy real-food versions of unhealthy treats (e.g. pancakes from scratch vs boxed pancake mix). They generally taste better in my experience, and don’t make you feel gross afterwards.
So without further ado, here are the recipes!
Pancakes and Waffles
from Food Faith Fitness – I would use regular milk instead of cashew, but this is a great dairy-free option.
Breads, Muffins, Scones, and Biscuits
Homemade English Muffins
from the Williams-Sonoma blog. I LOVE English muffins, but store-bought ones can have some nasty ingredients. Make your own instead!
from Lauren Caris Cooks (I would use regular dairy milk and make sure to cook any greens
before consuming, but these are so so pretty!)
